R+T Asia is the exclusive industrial trade fair in Asia for roller shutters, doors/gates and sun protection. Originated in Europe, R+T is held in Stuttgart every three years. With more than 40 years of successful experience, R+T has always been leading the trend of product innovation and industrial development. By taking advantage of the abundant organizing experience and its worldwide client network resources, the organizer is setting up an ideal communication platform for both the exhibitors and the visitors.R+T entered Asia’s market and started in Guangzhou since 2005. As a professional exhibition, R+T Asia is not a single product, but also produce ‘Design Week Shanghai’ and <Windows Coverings Business News>, it offers multi-faceted service to you. Over the two years, it has brought the advanced European products, technologies and ideas, as well as opened the door for thousands of Asian manufacturers to enter the global market.
General Information
Given the robust growth and expansion of many Asian economies this decade, it is not surprising that opportunities in the sunshade industry are blossoming everywhere throughout Asia. China, itself, has now become the focal point of this economic growth, rising personal income levels and ongoing industrialization efforts throughout China have all led to an extremely strong demand for high quality residential and commercial sunshade. The investments in Beijing Olympics 2008 and Shanghai World Expo 2010 will give certainly an extra increase in demand for the contract business. R+T Asia 2007 absolutely broke all the records. With a total exhibition area of more than 18,000 sqm, R+T Asia 2007 attracted 288 leading enterprises with their top products and technologies as well as 11,137 professional visitors including 1,742 from oversea. With an astonishing more than 100% increase in the total number of visitor and exhibition area, R+T Asia generated again some record-breaking numbers in the history of the show. Most of the exhibitors were highly satisfied with the exhibition results. As such, it is not surprising that 98% of all exhibitors stated that they would be back next year again. R+T Asia 2008 will be held in Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC) on March 12-14, 2008. The Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) is China''s leading expo center, boasting state-of-the-art facilities. Situated in Shanghai''s Pudong district, the heart of Chinese business, SNIEC has attracted worldwide attention since its opening. Featuring a prime, easily accessible location, a pillar-free, single story structure and a wide array of expert on-site services, SNIEC has been experiencing rapid growth. In order to allow more companies to join the R+T Asia, the exhibition area has been increased to 25,000 m2 in new venue. With the increment in height in each level, there are more spaces to exhibit large-scale sunshade products. This year, the organizer will continue to spare no effort in improving the international image of R+T Asia. Through the cooperation with both the domestic and international media, we aim to give a full coverage of the fair.
