Established as a state-owned factory in the 1950's, Hua-Win is one of the first special vehicle manufacturers in China. In 2005, with 30% overseas investment, the company became a joint-venture based in Suizhou, Hubei Province, which is well-known as a Special Vehicle Corridor in China.
Having 50 years of good reputation in the market, Hua-Win is now one of the top 10 suppliers of special vehicle in China. With capacity of over 10,000, its products range from trailers, tippers, tankers, engineering vehicles, to sanitation trucks and other special carriers. In 2006, the company sold more than 6000 units, and in 2007, it is expected to be 7500 units.
In 2005, the company moved to its new production base which covers an area of 215 acres, with 48,000 square meters of workshops. There are over 1100 employees working for the company in 2007, in which 120 are specialized professionals, and 50 are in R&D department. The new factory is equipped with more than 200 sets of advanced tooling, calibrating and measuring machines. Now the factory has been awarded with the certificates of ISO9001, CCC and is planning to apply for CE certificate.
