Elka International Ltd., a company of 33 years (since 1974) specializing in audio, video, communication & electronic cable assembly and components, is performing as the headquarters of the Elka Group, handling marketing, financing, investing and planning.
As regards our three factories in Malaysia and China, their main product lines are connecting cable assemblies for audio, video and multimedia, including HDMI, DVI, IEEE 1394, and USB cable assemblies. Also fiber optical patch cords and medical cables are comprised in our production program. It is our anticipation to grow up steadily with customers in all times. In 2001, our Malaysia factory, Elkat Electronics (M) Sdn. Bhd., acquired a small neighbor factory to accommodate their wire harness business. Meanwhile, our China factory, Dongguan Yungtay Electronics Co., Ltd., also finished the second phase construction to meet our increasing production requirements. Later in the fall of 2005, our third factory, Kunshan Everlink Technology was established in Shanghai for more efficiently serving customers around Yangtze River Delta area. Apart from selling our main products, all the related components and accessories are also included in our business.
It is noteworthy that our three subsidiary factories, Elkat, Dongguan Yungtay and Kunshan Everlink have all received the ISO9001 and ISO14001 certificates, and Elkat and Dongguan Yungtay have also obtained the TS16949 certificate. Being aware of the green management issue, Elka is devoted to integrate and educate our suppliers as the green supply chain, and our products are RoHS compliant. In addition, Elkat has become one of the SONY Green Partners since 2004. Moreover, we are one of the HDMI adopters and are also very active in 1394 Trade Association and in USB Implementers Forum. It is our goal to broaden our product lines and to increase our capability in all time to provide all round services to our customers.
