Shenglong Electronics Technology Co., Ltd. is an internationalized high-tech Sino-foreign joint venture enterprise. It was established in May 1999 and is located in Guangzhou, South China's Guangdong province. Focusing on the technical development and application of digital audio and video products and aiming at leading the audio and video consumption of the masses, the company initiates high-tech personalized service and specializes in designing, fabricating and marketing medium/low end digital products, which principally cover nearly a hundred models of digital electronic products, such as digital camera of 100K pixels ~ 6 Mega pixels, Camcorder, digital telescope and digital clock, MP3 and Mobile storage discs, etc. President of the company, Raymond Chen, gradually advanced the operation strategy of globalized technical R&D, marketing and technical service by taking advantage of his wide views and five-year struggle and has possessed "UAT"and "Shenglong" brands. To cooperating with the global market demand, the company built a nearly 20,000 square meters modern standard digital camera manufacturing base in Fangcun District, Guangzhou city, where both good environment and convenient communications are available. The new factory buildings will be put into use in 2005 when the company will be able to make 3 million sets of digital camera a year.
  As a high-tech enterprise, Shenglong Sci-Tech is constantly devoted to technical development and talent training on basis of its science and technology. As early as in the beginning of its founding, the company had established its R&D agencies and offices in USA, Canada and Xi'an, China and possessed nearly 50 independent design development personnel. Through 5-year exploration and practice, it has developed an experienced and strongly competitive technical team in connection with digital audio and video technology. The company has successfully mastered a number of critical technologies with respect to hardware, software and firmware of audio and video products. In the meantime, to maintain its competitive advantage in high and new technology, the company put its mind to the cooperative development and application of frontier technology of audio and video products. It carries out long-term technical cooperation, development and technical transfer with Electronics Research Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences and number of research agencies in Xinzhu High and New Technological Park, which enjoys a name of Silicon Valley of Taiwan province and has successfully developed many new model products. The company plans to construct the R&D agency into a state-level enterprise technical R&D center in 3 years.

Its products have qualified the CE & FCC certification and the comprehensive product test conducted by China Camera Research Institute. To ensure the new products can be put into production smoothly, the design of all new products of the company are strictly demonstrated by means of EVT, DVT and environmental test. In addition, advanced manufacturing process and TQM management method are employed to ensure all new products highly reliable.
