Yama is well known as a professional manufactory with great influence in polyester ribbon and ribbon-bows industry. The registered capital of YAMA Co. Is more than HK$200 million, and the fixed assets are HK$300 million. The total area of YAMA general factory in Jimei is about 25, 000 square meters, where the workshop building is covered 43, 000 square meters and the office block area is about 3000 square meters. The branch factory in Xinglin is 35, 000 square meters, and the workshop building is about 58, 000 square meters. The total number of staff and workers in Yama Ribbons & Bows Co. Is about 2800.
Over the strong, stable and fast developing in years, Yama Ribbon and Bows Co. Have individual dying, weaving, printing and hand craft workshops, which are all constant temperature and dustless. Currently we have more than 2, 500 high-speed looms, 78 high-temperature dyeing machines, 18 normal-temperature dyeing machines, 30 high-speed yarn warping machines, 200 printing machines and over 1, 000 other machines. We specialize in making various high-quality polyester ribbon, printed ribbon, woven-edged label ribbon, sheer ribbon, velvet, picot-edged ribbon, and a wide assortment of handmade ribbon ornaments (including ribbon bows, rose, packing bows, etc).
Yama Ribbon and Bows Co. Can produce 10 million yards ribbon, 1 million ribbon-bows one day. And we keep 600-800 million yards ribbon in stock perennially for stock-in-trade. About 70% of our production is export to America and Europe. All of the ribbon materials (yarn, dyes, ink) is Azo free and meet the standard of environment protection in America and Europe. Efficient management
In order to reduce management complexity, drive down operating costs, and enable more efficient communications, we cooperated with advanced national software companies in September 2005 and adopted a set of ERP management system software (including supply chain, finance, production, customer relationship management, human resources, office automation, e-commerce systems etc). We split it into three phases and at present it's under way in the first stage.
