ALGAEBAN(trademark) is a time proven product that promotes clean, healthy HVAC systems reducing maintenance and equipment failure. ALGAEBAN(trademark) is manufactured in the United States and is a USA EPA registered product. Its formula is both laboratory and field proven effective to kill Legionella, and many other air and water born organisms for more than a dozen years.
ALGAEBAN(trademark) is designed to treat the standing water in a HVAC system by
incorporating state-of-the-art, time released technology by providing the automatic feed of active ingredients. ALGAEBAN(trademark) disrupts the reproduction cycle of these organisms, and prevents their spread. The condensate water in drain pans stand for long periods of time becoming stagnant - leading to growth of fungi, bacteria and slime. The water sanitized by the product prohibits the growth of these organisms and results in a clean, open flowing drain. This removes germs and foul odors that could circulate throughout or building. Even if cleaned, these drain pans can become microbial infected in a very short time. ALGAEBAN(trademark) prevents this from happening.
