Ferrite beads are dowel-like devices having a center hole and are made from ferromagnetic material. These beads act as Radio-frequency (RF) chokes, when placed on to current carrying conductors. They offer convenient, inexpensive, and yet effective means of RF shielding, parasitic suppression and RF decoupling.
