Aluminium brass tube is a copper zinc alloy, mainly containing copper, zinc, aluminium and a small amount of arsenic which acts as an inhibitor against dizincification.

The outstanding characteristics of inhibited aluminium brass tube is its high resistance to impingement of high velocity salt and brackish water. Therefore, it is widely used as condenser tube in marine and land power stations where the cooling water velocity is high.
