17AM + PTC:
17AM+PTC series thermal protector is a heating element, it is Arranged on the basis of 17AM thermal protector, which has power-off Protection, delay protection in function. The protection function is more Reliable and safer.
Working principle:
When the electrical work is abnormal, causing the surrounding Temperature is too high or current overload, double metal piece will act Quickly, so that the two contact is broken, cut off the circuit. When the Temperature drops to the reset temperature, the product is reset and the Circuit is switched on.
When the product is assembled with PTC, the voltage applied to the PTC element, and the PTC generates enough heat to keep the protector in a Skip state. Only when the power is cut off, the product can be reset, (with Manual reset function).
