EM reader introduction:
o 235EM proximity reader utilizes EM technology to read contactless EM cards
o Suitable for access control, time and attendance and other card control systems
o Wiegand output model interfaces with all existing Wiegand protocol access control systems
MF reader introduction:
o 235MF smart card reader utilizes MIFARE technology to read MIFARE contactless smart cards
o Contactless smart cards are used for stored value or data applications such as access control, vending, toll roads, airline ticketing,
o banking cards, city cards, ID cards, university cards, loyalty schemes, phone cards, park and ride, and prepaid metering
Power requirements:
o 235EM:9-12VDC at 100mA
o 238MF:7-12VDC at 100mA
o A linear regulator is recommended

o 235EM: safety read range for 7cm with standard EM H4100 card
o 238MF: safety read range for 4cm with Philips Mifare 1 contactless smart card
