ELASTOREPEL - is a water- based silane/siloxane emulsion impregnant which has been formulated to impart excellent water repellency to a wide variety of mineral building materials. The product is designed to penetrate into the first few millimeters of the surface and render the substrate water repellent. This water repellent zone dramatically reduces the absorption of water and water borne salts, while still allowing the free passage of water vapour. Due to the water-based composition of ELASTOREPEL, the release of hydrocarbon solvents is avoided. ELASTOREPEL significantly reduces damage such as efflorescence, erosion, and spalling which is caused by the ingress of water and water-borne salts into masonry materials.
