Extruded Rubber (1)

Extruded rubber is a major part of Ebco's sale. We extrude sponge rubber, dense rubber, dense rubber with strands of filament and dense rubber with a wire carrier. This broad product range allows us to meet the most demanding requirements. We have compounds approved by UL which comply with the smoke and fire requirements for buses and transit vehicles. The majority of our products are custom but we do have a few profiles which are standard. We have various sizes of edge trim and edge trim with sponge bulbs for sealing purposes.
Secondary operations are a common practice with extrusions. Profiles can be wound on reels or coiled on a cardboard disk. Parts may require the ends to have a unique cut or holes and slots cut along the length. To aid in application a pressure sensitive adhesive can be applied to meet the requirements you desire. Flocking is a process where synthetic fibers are glued to a profile to aid glass or a similar surface in sliding. Whatever your requirement we will be able to provide a product for you.
