Our unique thermal plastic bonding process has been developed to produce welded filter bags with steel ring retainers. The result is the best ring seal in the industry for one very important reason."The Lump". Our steel ring filter bags have no lump another industry first.
Conventional sewn seams create a lump when the seam wraps around the steel ring. This is a primary area of contaminant bypass allowing unwanted particulate to travel down stream. Steel ring felt filter bags from STFilter have no lump and no needle holes so you get better filtration efficiencies. Rings are available in zinc plated carbon steel stainless steel or polypropylene.
Traditional steel-ring filter bags are manufacture by stitching machines. In order to lubricate and cool the spare parts silicon oil has to be injected into the space of spare part. So it causes risk to pollute the filter material during manufacturing. Welding technology do not use stitching machine there has no chance to be polluted by silicone oil.
All configurations come standard with double integral handles for easy filter bag change out. So you don't pay extra for a feature that makes life easier. All welded filter bags are available in Polyester and Polypropylene Felt in micron ratings from 1 to 300.
Whether you have a filter housing from Hayward ,FSI 3MGAFLOEFFLER or Cuno or a housing from another manufacturer there is a steel-ring filter bag that will fit it perfectly. So no matter what type of filter vessel your application uses there is a steel-ring filter bag to fit it.
