Bak Kut Tea Spice (ILC)

Original Bak Kut Tea comes from Singapore. It is the TeoChew Clans who concocted this clear soup to counteract the wind and dampness. The main ingredients of the Bak Kut Tea spices are garlic and pepper. These two main ingredients have proven to be able to counteract the symptoms of rheumatism.
It is a clear soup, predominantly a trademark of TeoChew cuisine, with no added herbs. Meat, typically pork ribs, was added to enhance the taste of the soup. Green leafy vegetables were added to the soup to offset the strong spices.
This teochew version is original tradition version of the Bak Kut Tea. Herbs are not featured so as not to cause the texture and taste of the soup to change. This is to ensure that everyone young and old, pregnant mothers included can enjoy this original taste of Bak Kut Tea
