Plain Section
The most fundamental type of compression ring used for all forms of compressors, pumps and other applications
Taper Faced
Shortens running-in period and increases oil scraping ability of the ring.
Internal Chamfer or Internal Step
When installed the ring twists itself, thus improving oil control qualities
Barrel Faced (Symmetric)
By pre-profilling, the rings running-in period will be reduced and oil film forming characteristics optimized
Nasen Rings
These Rings can take one of several forms - Plain Faced or taper faced, square face or undercut depending on the attributes of application
SOC
Slotted oil control rings remain the standard type of oil rings for many industrial application.
