Tiamulin is a prokaryotic ribosome inhibitor that acts by blocking the initiation of polypeptide chain formation, thus preventing the synthesis of key enzymes and other proteins.
*Prevent and control Mycoplasma infections (Swine Enzootic Pneumonia, Chronic Respiratory Diseases of poultry). It has a synergistic activity with tetracyclines against other primary (A. pleuropneumoniae, B. bronchiseptica) and secondary (P. multocida) respiratory pathogens.
*Tiamulin is particularly indicated for the control, prevention and treatment of swine dysentery (B. hyodysenteriae), porcine colonic spirochaetosis (B. pilosicoli) and porcine proliferative enteropathy (L. intracellularis).
*Improve animal performance and feed efficiency.
