Application : Choline is usually classified as a vitamin B . It promotes fat metabolism in liver and kidney . Choline is also the basis of acetylcholine incorporation and influences the transmission of neural signals . Moreover , choline is a methyl group source used for methionine incorporation . Many feedstuffs contain natural choline , but its intake is not enough to satisfy the demand of high speed of animal growth form modern livestock rearing industry . Therefore , synthetic choline chloride should be supplemented as an essential role to a complete feed . The shortage of choline will result in fatty liver ,retarded growth , low egg laying and high morbidity .
