The orginal Taihe Tongbao Coin uset to be the circulation coin in Taihe period of Jin dynasty (1201~1208 A.D.). The Chinese characters on the coin are the beautiful, plump and powerful calligraphy, written by Wanyanjing, the fourth emperor of Jin dynasty. The base is the exquisitely engraved with white marble, named after Laicai Buddha. Lacai is Chinese pinyin, which means let riches and treasures come into your house. What's more, the association of gold coin and white marble wishes the owner had a good financial condition, rich in gold and jade.
