BMW TV Activator

The TV-Activator is designed for following BMW models with standard Navigationsystem & TV-Tuner : E38, E39, E46 & E53, from on: 09/97 or from the start of the carline production.
The ignition must be switched on before programming of the TV-Activation and switch off the ignition afterwards. The programming lasts about 10 sec.
The application of the diagnostic connections:
The round 20-pin connection is used predominated in models with both diagnostic sockets, in this cars the OBD-2 socket is only connectet to the ECU only for Emissions.
Red = TV locked, no picture at all times.
Yellow = Factory-standart, no picture while driving 6km/h or faster.
Green = TV activated, picture while driving
