General Description
Jaws holding parts to be welded are pneumatically and hydraulically controlled.
First part of the cycle removes oxides and equalizes surface condition by passing pre-heat current (parts may be oscillating).
Second part of the cycle upsets the parts with a great force, squeezing imperfect metal outside of the joint, creating very strong bond.
This equipment is used to weld wide range of parts  automotive rims to knife and spoon handles.
