Properties:

White needle-like crystal powder, bitter in tast. Very soluble in chloroform, ethyl acetate, benzene and acetone, freely soluble in methanol, ethanol, dilutedly ethanol, aether and petroleum ether, practically insoluble in water.

Main application:

This product is highly effective and nearly no side-effects antimalarial drug. It's mainly active on the rythrocytis forms of Plasmodium, directly killy the schizont. Compared with chloroquines, it is faster in curing th tertian malaria and malignant average protozoon's turning negative. It's used for the curative treatment of cerebral malaria, severe malaria and chloroquines-resistant malaria.
