Compact Fluorescent Lamp(CFL), also called Energy Saving Lamp(ESL) is designed with reduced dimensions to fit most household lighting fixtures without compromises in total luminous flux. Since the tube are coated with tri-phosphor, luminous efficiency are second to none and colour can be controlled accurately during manufacturing. ESL saves more than 80% of your electric energy bill on lighting with incandescent bulbs. The lamps are integrated with precise switching electronic circuit that starts the lamp softly to maintain the tube's luminous strength for its full average life, which is more than 8000 hrs, measured accordingly to IEC 826. ESL are also exceeds IEC requirement for EMC (electro magnetic compliance). The lamps are fitted with either B22, E27,E14 or E40 cap. The lamp is not dimmable. It is recommended to replace all frequently used incandescent lamps in your home with CFL also called ESL (energy saving lamps)
