Ultrasonic Riveter consists of ultrasonic transducer, booster, horn, fixed sleeve, frame (with movement device) and generator. Its work principle is that ultrasonic force horn (force device) vibrates with high frequency, forcing riveting end to shock the work piece with high speed. Because of the high speed, most energy can’t transfer to the inner of work piece; the shocked part of work piece is deformed, the riveting work is completed. 

The main characteristic of ultrasonic riveter is for the force device. It is ultrasonic generator, not original hydraulic or aerodynamic force or electrodynamics force. It has the superiority of high vibration frequency, large amplitude and acceleration of particle movement. The riveting force device works in pulse. And its high speed, frequency and acceleration result in high work efficiency. It’s especially suit for riveting tiny, strange shaped work pieces and special work pieces.
