Product Description:
Is a reddish brown, dark liquid or powder produced by extraction of annato pigments from the seeds of the annato tree (Bixa orellana L.) using aqueous potassium hydroxide. The major colouring principle is norbixin (C24 H28 O4).
Norbixin content (%):    1,14 - 1,21
Potassium Hidroxide (%):      2,50 - 2,70
pH:          13 -14
Application/Dosage:
Cheese, ice-cream, backery products, confectionery, snacks, soups, desserts, meat and other food products with an aqueous phase. The quantity depending on the food product, processing and final product desired.
