Use a digital multimeter to distinguish the positive and negative poles of the SMD diode:
Adjust the multimeter to the diode position, put the test leads on both sides of the SMD diode, and then see the value on the display screen:
(1). the screen display is 1. It means the resistance is infinite, the black test pen is the negative pole, and the red test pen is the positive pole;
(2). the screen display is about.600, which has a numerical value. at the same time, the multimeter will make a beeping sound. Then the red test pen is the negative pole, and the black test pen is the positive pole;
(3). of course, there is a third situation, that is, no matter how the test leads are placed, the display value on the screen is close to 0, and the multimeter makes a sound, which indicates that the SMD diode has been broken down, and cannot be used anymore.
