Product characteristics: Polymeric aluminum ferric chlorideby (PAFC) is new compound unformed water purification agents with inorganic polymer taking iron as its main components and aluminum as secondary ones (iron m/m being 2-3%). High iron after hydrolysis forms multinucleate complex compound. The alum in the water bears the features of large gravity and compact structure when temperature is low because temperature puts few effects on hydrolysis speed and process of ferric salt. PAFC largely reduces chroma in let-out water because of the color-removing features of aluminum salt rather than decreasing PH value of water and increasing chroma in let-out water for low iron m/m. PAFC with the characteristics and performances of PAC and iron salt broadly reduces chroma in let-out water to solve the difficulties in purifying the water in low temperature and turbidity, therefore, its purifying effects are apparently superior to other purifying products. Product application: It is useful for drinking water and industrial water treatment. Usage and dosage (I)Usage 1 PAFC can be put into service through the following process: firstly dissolve PAFC according to the ratio 1:3 (m/m) between this product and clear water to obtain the solution, then add extra clear water eight to twelve times as the former solution. The higher raw water turbidity is, the thinner the solution is made up. The purifying effects would be much better if increasing the throwing quantities of this solution. 2 The diluted solution prefers to be used up within eight hours. (II)Dosage The optimum throwing quantities can be determined conforming to different turbidity of raw water and seasons, and the regular throwing quantity of water with common turbidity (500 degree) is 5-8KG/KT.
