Structure: dual layer structure of heat shrinkable insulation layer and hot melt adhesive layer.
Performance: the structure of dual layers provides both insulation and sealing for protected electriferous articles.
Utility: used to protect profiled conductor to shorten interphase distance and repair the damaged cable and seal the side face of cable joints.
Installation: wrapping the tape ensuring a minimum 50% overlap with the tape end secured by a hold down tape. Using a torch, begin at the edge of the tape and heat circumferentially around the joint to the other edge till adhesive flows at the tape edges.
