Navway GPS Real Time Traffic Report

Australia’s fastest, most accurate and user-friendly street navigation device from Ausway – the publishers of the iconic Melway, Brisway and Sydway street directories – can be updated every six months, so users will always have the most current map information available.

And its large 4.3” touchscreen displays navigation and driving information in either 2D or 3D.

The Navway also sounds a warning beep of upcoming red light cameras and fixed speed cameras.

If you do miss a turn, the Navway automatically reassess the situation and recalculates its set of instructions in seconds.

With the Navway, you’re completely hands free if you have a compatible Bluetooth phone.  You can make and receive calls by simply touching the Navway screen.

You can plan your day by pre-selecting locations you want to visit. Preview the calculated route; modify it if you want with any criteria you have (like avoiding toll roads, the fastest route, shortest distance, etc.) and you’re on your way. 

The favourite address facility allows you to input your often used addresses to quickly select that destination again and again.

You can transfer MP3 files to a SD card via the USB cable and use your Navway to listen to your favourite music

How does it work?

The Navway uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver to determine its current position relative to a set of earth-orbiting satellites. The receiver works in any weather anywhere on the globe.

The GPS information is then matched to the NAVTEQ on board maps and your location is plotted and displayed on the Navway
