Specifications

Dasheng's corrosion protection sleeve, for girth weld joints of steel piplines, consists of an irradiated cross-linked polyolefin backing with a heat activated adhesive layer. The sleeve is used with or without a primer, depending on whether it is a 3 layer or a 2 layer system. The solvent-free, two part epoxy primer offers excellent bonding to the steel substrate, ensuring superior protection. The product is suitable for piplines operating up to 80 and is compatible with most of the common pipeline coatings like PE, PP, FBE etc.

Packing:

The product is normally supplied as a kit suitable for a particular pipe diameter. The kit consists of Sleeve, Closure Patch and Epoxy Primer, with small tools like mixing stick, glove and application pad. Depending on individual customer specification & requirement, the product can be supplied in bulk form also.
