It is a rubber layer that has patterns printed on the surface between the outmost layer of the tire and the road surface. It can make the tire have tractive force, buffer the shock and wagging during the driving process and protect the cord ply from laceration and puncturing. It is mainly made from natural rubber and 3-polybutadiene rubber.
