Often used to measure the thickness of galvanizing layer, lacquer layer, porcelain enamel layer, phosphide layer, copper tile, aluminum tile, some alloy tile, paper etc. NFe probes measure the thickness of nonmagnetic coatings on non-magnetic metals.
