Material Types: Galvanized wire or stainless steel wire is used as the core wire, and galvanized sheet or corrosion resistant plate is punched into a shape with barbs.
Barb Types: Short barb usually from 10 mm to 15 mm long, medium barb usually from 20 mm to 25 mm long and long barb usually from 60 mm to 66 mm long.
Diameter of Coil: 450mm, 710mm or 900mm, etc.
Packing: All coils are carefully and well packed on wooden pallets covered with thick carton sheets to prevent injuries when unpacking. Protective clothing is recommended when handling this product.
Technology: Razor barbed wire is a mesh of metal strips with much sharper edges (than the barbs of standard barbed wire) whose purpose is to prevent passage by humans. Razor barbed wire is formed through the process of combining the steel tape (hot-galvanized steel plate or stainless sheet steel) with the core wire (high tensile galvanized steel wire or high tensile stainless steel wire). And in the process, the steel tape is punched into a sharp shape with barbs. The process of combining the two is referred to as roll forming. The multiple bladed edges of a razor barbed wire fence are designed to inflict serious cuts on anyone who attempts to climb through one, and therefore provide a strong psychological deterrent effect.
