The PDC (bits) Domed inserts are sintered by bonding diamond crystals to domed tungsten carbide substrate at high temperature and pressure. They have high abrasion resistance of diamond and impact resistance of domed tungsten carbide for percussive drilling in hard formations. They are mainly used on impact structure of tri-cone bits to effectively increase rate of penetration and footage and lower drilling cost.
Our domed inserts have been used by several biggest manufacturers of tri-cone drill bits in China.
