Specifications

Medium sized and small Francis turbine is suitable for water head: 20 ~ 150 meters, while large sized Francis turbine is suitable for water head 30 ~ 200 meters. They are suitable for hydro power station with water head and load change.
Structural characteristics: When water flows through its wheel, it is toward radial direciton, the water guide out mechanism is at radial direction. The opening angle of the blades can be adjusted according to its load. The rotation wheel is composed of upper crest, lower ring and the certain amount of streamlined blades which fixed between the crest and ring. The intake chamber is usally made of metal or concrete volute. The draft tube is composed by straight cone diffusion tube, elbow tube with special shape and expansion section. The elbow pipe of small hydro genset is called as bent tube, it is classified as uniform cross section and tappered cross section, etc.

The Inclined Jet Turbine is suitable for medium or high water head: 40----200meters and discharge of 0.6m3--3m3. The jet water and the plane of rotation wheel forms 22.5° ~25° Angle. It belongs to impulse turbine. It uses the kinetic energy of water flow. The load of the generating set is adjusted by the water spray nozzel. This type of water turbine is simple in structure, easy to use and maintenance. It is suitable for hydro station with big load changes.

Structural characteristics: The main shaft can be vertical or horizontal layout. It can adopt one or more spray nozzels. If it adopts more spray nozzels, the output adopts double adjusting mechanism.

Axial flow turbine (Kaplan turbine) is used for large and medium hydraulic power plants with water head of 3m--200meters and medium and small axial flow turbine is used for hydraulic power plants with a water head of 30--40m, driving the rotation of water turbine generator for power generation.
When the water flows through the wheel, it always towards the axial Direction. The turbine is suitable for medium or small capacity power station with smaller changes on water head and load. The axis is vertical. The diversion chamber can be open flume type, or open flume with pressure, or concrete sprial casing. The tail pipe can be taper pipe and elbow pipe. If the diameter of the rotation wheel is under 1000mm, the tail pipe is taper pipe.

Volute axial flow hydro generator
This type of hydro turbine is innovated model of axial flow turbo generator. It overcomes the problems of the traditional axial flow turbine: The main axis is long and the bearing at the turbine must be soaked into water, so the turbine is easy to damage, the volute chamber can not make full use of the pressure of the water head; The instllation cost too much time and the civil works is big; It is not easy to build the tailor pipe and the volute chamber. This new type of turbine generator is more efficient than the traditional ones. The life of this new type is a few times longer than the old ones.
