Equipment is made of glass-lined steel, a versatile material of construction which combines inert glass on the inside surface for complete product protection with steel outside for structural strength. Because of this glass-lined steel construction, these tanks:

Provide excellet corrosion resistance aginst various corrosive mediums, especially acids.
Provide non-stick property and resistance of materials buildup, it's easier to clean the vessel than others.
Don't affect the flavor, color or purity of stored products, freedom from contamination.
Requires minimum maintenance work and have a long service life and more economic than other tanks.

Clamps and Gaskets

the standard clamps supplied by J.H. Equipment are made of forged-steel and galvanized for corrosion resistance. A special stainless steel cable holds the clamps in place like keys on a ring, so that the clamps can not be dropped or fall into the vessel when loosened. the clamps remain in their original position, ready for use. this simple design brings big convenience in maintenance work.

All glass-lined nozzles and flanges are fitted with PTFE enveloped gaskets. In the center, there is stainless steel corrugation ring to keep the gasket in shape.

Glassing Process and Quality-Control

Our total quality-control in glass-lined reactors applies same to glass-lined storage tanks. Non-destructive test, hydraulic and high voltage test are held to ensure the integrity of the glass-lining.
