WL-AQD-A01 wireless carbon dioxide detector / Sensor Detector is an item of new product based on zigbee technology. It is especially used for detecting CO₂concentration of the indoor air and sending the signals to the controlling center.

WL-AQD-A01 wireless carbon dioxide detector uses non-diffuse infrared ray to detect the air. All the gas in the air can absorb the lights, different gas absorbs the lights in different wave length, for example, CO₂ is especially sensitive to infrared ray (wave length is 4.26m)

Detecting method is to absorb the gas being measured into a measuring room. One side of the measuring room has light source, the other side has light filter and detector. The function of light filter is merely to allow the light with certain wave length pass through. Detector will detect luminous flux which pass through the measuring room. Luminous flux received by detector depends on the concentration of the air being detected. Through micro processor, content of all kinds of the gas in the air can be analyzed.
