Snail lock backer is aluminium bodied. And it is widely used in the stone grinding and process. The following in can be useful for your reference. Any other specification is available upon your requirment.

The snail lock backers are made of aluminum and rubber. The rubber is shock-proof.
Diameter available for 4 "/5"/6"/7", with the threads of 5/8 "- 11 and M14.
The snail lock backers are also made by bakelite or rubber. One side is for snail locking and the other side can bond akelite or rubber which can directly adhere the Velcro on the back of abrasive disc

Additionally, we can supply polishing pads, floor grindings, brazed pads and metal polishings for customer to put on the backers.
