Round bar: Diameter 60 – 600 mm.

Flat bar: Thickness 16 – 600mm, Width 60-800mm.

Delivery condition: Hot rolled , black surface , pre hardened , hardness 28-34HRC.

Properties:

1. Plastic mould steel with widely application in the world.

2. With excellent mechanical properties, high hardenability, obtained uniform hardness in bigger cross section.

3.With polishability properties and high cleanliness of surface.

4.Follow by Vacuum degassing and Ladle Furance, with good pure quality, suitable for polishing processing plastic mold and etch processing plastic mold.

5.Before producing molds, commonly it would be processed by quenched and tempered to achieve hardness 28-35 HRC( prehardened ), and then it would be cold processing to be molds. Those processing can guarantee its application and avoid deformation when processing heat treatment.

6.After forging or rolling it would obtain density structure without gas hole, tears etc.

Application:

1. Used in manufacturing of large-sized, medium-sized and precision plastic molds, and die casting die for low melting point of Tin alloy , Zinc alloy, Lead alloy.

2. Thermoplastic plastic blow mold.

3. Main part of heavy duty die.

4. Cold structural components

5. Widely used in manufacturing of TV set casing , washing machine, refrigerator inner shell, bucket etc.

Due to its good abrasion resistance, it is widely used in making cold die and punch, cold shearing(shear hard and thin metal, such us silicone sheet),drilling bushing ,gauge, wortle, coining die,

thread rolling die, screw thread rolling die and so on, which are small impact load but need high wearable ability.

Heat treatment:

Annealing temperature: 710 - 730 ° C

Annealing hardness: MAX230 HB.

Stress relieving : Approx 650 ° C.

Hot forming temperature : 1050-850 ° C

Quenching temperature: 870-890 ° C

Quenching media : oil, Salt bath , Vacuum.

Hardness after quenching: 50-54 HRC

Hardness after tempering:
