Specifications

Description
AAC Conductor are constructed with a straight round central aluminum wire surrounded by one or more layers of helically laid aluminium wires. The most commonly used stranding consists of 7, 19, 37, 61 and 91 wires.
In all constructions, the successive layers shall have opposite directions of lay, the outermost layer being right-handed.

Application
Used in overhead electric power transmission and distribution lines with various grade voltages.
The most favoured overhead bare homogeneous conductors for primary and secondary distribution lines with relatively short spans where high mechanical strength is not required.

GB/T 1179-2008, IEC 61089, EN 50182, DIN 48201 Part 5, BS 215 Part 1, ASTM B231 or as required.
