I .Brief Introduction
SMC, a kind of humic acid derivative, is synthesized from sulfonation and complexing of lignite or weathered coal ,which can improve the quality of mud cake, reduce the filtration and has good high temperature resistance. It is widely used in various water base mud systems, especially in the sulfonates drilling fluid system. It can improve the high temperature stability of the drilling fluid and has good compatibility with other additives.

This product is jointly used with potassium humate, brown coal resin and sulfonated phenol formaldehyde resin etc. for water base drilling fluid systems .
