SFP модуль
SFP модуль (Small Form-factor Pluggable), оптический модуль - это оптический трансивер, используенмый в оптических телекоммуникационных сетях со скоростью передачи данных выше 100 Mbps. Отпические SFP модули имеют компактные размеры и обладают возможностью быстрой замены, что делает их установку удобной и быстрой. Основной функцией модулей считается возможность передавать по линиям сигналы различной дальности. В зависимости от дальности передачи данных выделяются различные виды модулей:
SX: 850 нм 550 м multi-mode fiber (MMF);
LX: 1310 нм 10 км single-mode
fiber (SMF);
BS-D: 1490 нм 10 км single-mode fiber (SMF);
1550 нм 40 км
(XD), 80 км (ZX), 120 км (EX or EZX);
BX: WDM 1490 nm 1310 nm, Single Fiber
Bi-Directional;
SONET/SDH (OC3/STM-1; OC12/STM-4; OC48/STM-16);
CWDM;
DWDM.
Сами сигналы также могут быть c различными протоколами: Fast
Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet и др.
Подключение SFP модуля происходит по оптическому кабелю с разъёмом LC или SC. Но есть и модуль с обычным разъёмом RJ45. В любом случае, оптические модули SFP совместимы с оборудованием абсолютно всех производителей, имеющим слоты SFP. Причиной такой универсальности является наличие единого стандарта для модулей данной категории. Они производятся в соответствии с индустриальным форматом производства сменных модулей (трансиверов), так называемым SFP-форматом, регламентируются Multisource Agreement (MSA) и соответствуют стандарту 802.3Z IEEE. Все известные производители выпускают продукцию в соответствии с этим форматом.
