Silicon briquette is a by-product of silicon metal production. And is pressed from silicon metal slag.

There are more than 15% monatomic silicon and around 50% silicon dioxide in silicon metal slag.

Application:

1.in the recycle producing of the pig iron, silicon briquette can increase the furnace temperature efficiently, and increase the liquidity of molten iron, reduce the amount of coke.

2.In foundry, or casting industrials, silicon briquette can be used as reductor, to replace ferrous silicon to reduce the cost.

3.For silicon is pressed from silicon metal powder with high quality, so it has stable Si content, the furnace temperature will be easily controlled in practical application. Besides, it has regular size, lower melting point, rapid reaction, and apparent effect.
