age-hardened for uniformity of hardness throughout, even in heavy section. when welded, leaves no witness lines after re-aging, uniform grain structure with no pin holes, inclusions or hard spots.never needs stress relieving, even after heavy maching, super polishability, even over welded areas .Very good workability and mirror polishing property, suitable for thermoset molding of general resin.

Pre-hardened to HRC36-43, ,heat treatment and deformation could off.

Solution treatment and heat treatment to HRC36-43.
Applications

Used for high precision mirror plastic mould, high appearance home electronic plastic mould, clear lens molds.

extremely critical diamond finish applications, molds requiring special EDM finish

Heat Treatment:
Harden: Preheat at 840℃- 870℃ Cool in air, iol or into salt bath held at 200℃- 500℃ and then air cool.

Shaping: Hot forged / Hot rolled

Surface condition: Black surface/ turning / milling / peeling / polishing.
