Steel silo forming machine,steel silo making machine,spiral steel silo machine is for producing spiral/helix steel silos by strong seaming, not by welding or assembling.
 
This machine adopts special technology for spiral steel silo, helix steel silo by very strong seaming, not welded or assembled. The technology is same to Lippo Germany. Such steel silo can replace concrete silo in most projects, with much shorter production period and less project cost.
 
This machine can form 2-4mm thick, 495mm wide galvanized steel, stainless steel or special steel materials into spiral /helix steel silos in diameter 4-50m, for storing corn, paddy, grain, cement, water, chemical materials, etc.

The principle of spiral of folding

The construction technique of Lipp silo is the most advanced technology in the world. Its construction method is unique. While constructing, send the ciol sheet of 495 mm width into the profiling station, making an confined encircling spiral protruding strip of 30-40mm width around the silo body, thus, it plays the role of increasing the strength of the silo body. 

Then for two different kinds of material, the Lipp equipment can do the double folding construction.


Construction Processing Technology of Lipp Silo:

Equipment positioning: 
Equipment is positioned according 
to the diameter of the silo to be 
constructed.

Coiling the silo: Coil the silo 
body to a height of 2m.


Installing the silo roof: After cutting the silo eaves with the plasma cutter, install 
the roof on the horizontal line.

Silo construction and lifting: construct the silo and lift it the required height.

Back out the equipment, lower the silo and weld the silo body on the imbedded 
pants.

Installing the walkway and the related equipment.

Materials Available:

A wide variety of materials are available for Lipp silos: normal steel sheet, galvanized steel sheet, nickel-plated steel sheet, stainless steel sheet, alloy steel sheet, complex steel sheet, plastic-coated steel sheet, etc.

Normal steel sheet, galvanized steel sheet, aluminium sheet, alloy steel sheet, chrome sheet, nickel-plated steel sheet, stick poly-steel sheet can be used to construct double-layered silos.

Lipp equipment and technology was invented by Mr. Xaver lipp. The complete set of equipment is consisted of:

 Coil Unwinder: Steel plate coil is unwinded on it.

 Profiling Station: Material is bent into the preliminary shape and the right diameter.

 Folding Station: The bent material is rolled and folded into a spiral silo body.

 Carrier Frame: It carries the spiral up-rising silo body with the right diameter.

 High Frequency Stud Welder: To weld the stiffener on silo body with bolt and so avoiding the destruction on material surface.

Our company has 9 sets of German Lipp silo construction equipment and 9 sets of high frequency stud welders.Our annual production volume is 600,000M3. To ensure the precise construction, all spare parts are supplied from Lipp GmbH in Germany only. Constant exchanges are carried out between German and Chinese parties in equipment maintenance and overhauling.



 

Good overall quality and long life:

During silo construction, special equipment is used. Around the silo body there is a 30-40 mm wide spiral protruding strip (five times the thickness of the material) that strengthens the silo in load-bearing capacity, steadiness and anti-seismic. Highly anti-corrosion material ensures longer silo life.

Good gas-tightness and extensive usages:

As special equipment is used during the construction processing, quality can be ensures in every respect. With good gas-tightness, pest-killng and fumigation can be carried out inside the silo when storing grains. According to the characters of the contents, different materials are available to satisfy the requirements in grain storage, brewing, waste water treatment etc. in industrial and agricultural aspects.

Short construction period and low expenses:

With Lipp equipment, no scaffolding and other normal equipment are needed. The machine operates at 5m/s. Thus construction period is short. The weight of the material is much smaller than the concrete silo. With double-folded material, the silo can be used to contain corrosive liquid in chemical industry, environment protection, etc.

Economizing on space and easy management:

Different from other type of steel silos, Lipp silo has a big choice of height and diameter. The minimum distance between two silos is 500 mm and less space is used. Full automation can be used in the respect of temperature detecting, content level detecting, etc. to satisfy customers.
