The strength of the spiral welded pipe is generally higher than straight seam welded pipe. Larger diameter can be produced by narrow black with spiral weld seam. We can also produce it with different pipe diameter using the same width of black. But compared with the same length of straight seam welded pipe, the length of welding line increased 30-100%, and the production speed is low. Therefore, relatively small diameter welded pipe are mostly adopts the straight seam welded pipe, larger diameter welded pipes are usually spiral welded pipe.
