1Product introduction and applicable scope

Serpentine spring coupling is an embodiment of high-torque of gear coupling and flexibility of flexible coupling, for applications where high torque is required, it is the simplest and most economical coupling.


Anti-shock, shock-absorbing, variable load, can better protect the equipment


The two tooth faces of serpentine spring coupling is composed of multiple curved faces, the contact area
 between the tooth face and spring is automatically adjusted according to change of load during the operation so 
that it can withstand greater impact load and changing load, making it safer in case of startup and uneven load. 
And a large amount of impact energy can be absorbed through the flexible transmission of the spring, which can
reduce vibration and shock by up to 30%.

Ultralong service lif
Cone-shaped spring is made of high-strength alloy steel, subjected to strict heat treatment, its surface is treated by shot blasting in order to compress 
the molecular structure of the surface and make it achieve the best rigidness and flexibility and fatigue resistance
, it possesses excellent abrasion resistance and ultraong service life. 


Convenient maintenance

Fewer components, light weight and small volume make its installation and maintenance more convenient, 
no special periodic maintenance is required during the normal use, as long as there is sufficient lubricating 
grease filled during the installation, and the grease can absorb certain noise associated with the transmission, it is
 just needed to make up the grease appropriately after long time operation. 


Convenient installation and multiple designs


The installation accuracy of serpentine spring coupling is lower than the general coupling. The spring can
freely swing and float in the tooth groove on the shaft sleeve to allow a certain eccentricity allowance between 
the two shafts, and will not produce adverse bearing edge load like other types of coupling.

2. Structural features 

T10 basic type coupling: use for double flexible closed design of four-bearing system. It is characterized by combination of horizontally half split housing, serpentine spring and 
coupling, which allows replacement easily-worn parts without moving the equipment connected. 

T20 high-speed coupling: double flexible closed design. It is characterized by combination of vertically split
steel housing and serpentine spring as well as coupling, mainly used for the operating conditions of high speed

T31 Double-flange type coupling, T35 single-flange type coupling: the middle section can be disengaged in order to facilitate maintenance of bearings and 
seals of the connected equipment. They are very ideal for use in pump. 

T45 Expansion type coupling:The bore of coupling and shaft are coupled with a special 
expansion sleeve, which has an advantage of fast assembly and disassembly.

T61 Brake wheel type coupling
: The brake lining is on the right side of centerline of the
coupling shaft or set inside the coupling near the centerline of the coupling shaft, thus 
saving the space and cost.

T63 brake disc type coupling: it is better than the drum type brake in terms of cost, structure and performance
