Specifications
ASTM A588 Grade D/ Grade E/ Grade F is high-strength low alloy structural steel, primarily used in welded bridges and buildings where savings in weight or added durability are important. The atmospheric corrosion resistance of ASTM A588 Grade D/ Grade E/ Grade F is approximately two times that of carbon structural steel with copper. Welding technique is of fundamental importance, and it is presupposed that welding procedure will be suitable for the steel and the intended service.
