TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer or thermoplastic rubber) Is a kind of high elasticity, high strength, high elasticity rubber, also has the characteristics of injection molding of thermoplastic rubber. Non-toxic and safe, widely hardness, excellent coloring, soft touch, weather resistance, fatigue resistance and temperature resistance, excellent processing performance, not curing, can be recycled to reduce costs, It not only can be the second injection molding with adhesive coated PP, PA, PE, PC, PS, ABS and other substrate, and also be formed separately. Injection, extrusion, blow molding, overmolding are all suitable.

   Thermoplastic elastomer has thermoplastic processing performance, but also has the physical properties of vulcanized rubber. It can be described as a combination of advantages of plastic and rubber. 

TPV (thermoplastic vulcanizate) is also known as elastomeric alloys (EA). TPVs are formed in a reactive compounding process that is usually the combination of a polyolefin (Polypropylene or Polyethylene) with an elastomer (SBR, NR, EPDM, NBR or Butyl). In a reactive compounding process, the elastomer is completely cured. This dynamic vulcanization process in TPV production generates the webbed network in the elastomer domain while still retaining melt- processing capabilities. TPV consists of micron size cross-linked elastomer particles dispersed throughout a continuous matrix of thermoplastic material. Because of its thermoplasticity and melt flowability, TPV can be processed on standard thermoplastic equipments (such as injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, calendaring, overmolding etc.) with the efficiency and economy associated with thermoplastic materials. Further, the scrap from these processes can be recycled.
