Pharmacology:
Tiamulin is a semi-synthetic Derivative of Pleuromutilin. It is highly active against gram-positive Organisms, mycoplasmas and serpulina (Treponema) hyodysenteriae.
Tiamulin is used for
Prevention and control of mycoplasmal diseases such as enzootic pneumonia and
Chronic respiratory disease in pigs and poultry; swine dysentery, porcine
Colonic spirochaetosis and porcine proliferative enteropathy.
White or white crystalline powder, odourless, tasteless, chicken for chronic respiratory disease, swine and hemophilus pleura pneumonia mycoplasma pneumonia, can also be used for the pig treponema cause diarrhea.
