Stainless steel 316 is highly resistant to most chemicals & liquids, and it will always keep lustrous appearance. Although it is a little expensive, it has a much longer service life and will not pollute the media to be conveyed. Working pressure for stainless steel cam & groove fittings 1/2" is 150 psi, 3/4" to 2" is 250 psi, 2 1/2" is 225 psi, 3" is 200 psi and 4" to 6" is 100 psi. Temperature range is -150F to +500F (-101C to +260C).
Type C stainless steel cam & groove coupler is typically used with Type E, A, F & DP adapters. Available from 1/2 to 6 inch.
